About Dr Vincent Kielty, MB LRCP FRCS DOccMed DDAM Cert Gam
Dr Vincent Kielty has over twelve years experience as an Aviation Medical Examiner. He qualified in 1977 at Guys Hospital and spent 17 years as principal in general practice before becoming a qualified Occupational Health practitioner.
He became interested in Aviation Medicine having gained his PPL in 1993.
He passed the Certificate in General Aviation Medicine at RAF Farnborough in 1997, became a designated senior FAA medical examiner after training in Oklahoma in 1999, and passed the Advanced Course in Aviation Medicine (Kings College London) in 2004. He holds the AOPA aerobatic certificate, and has a share in a PA 28.
In addition to his work at Norwich Airport where he set up a private medical company in 2007 – Examinair Ltd, Vincent also holds a part-time post in a busy NHS University Hospital Trust in Occupational Medicine.
Examinair relocated to the prestigious new Klyne Business Aviation Centre at Norwich International Airport in June 2011, an exciting and progressive development for the Company. Parking is Free in the visitors spaces at the front of the building and our offices are very well equipped with receptionist facility.
