About Dr Vincent Kielty,  MB LRCP FRCS DOccMed DDAM Cert Gam

Dr Vincent Kielty has over eleven years experience as an Aviation Medical Examiner. He qualified in 1977 at Guys Hospital and spent 17 years as principal in general practice before becoming a qualified Occupational Health practitioner.

He became interested in Aviation Medicine having gained his PPL in 1993.

He passed the Certificate in General Aviation Medicine at RAF Farnborough in 1997, became a designated senior FAA medical examiner after training in Oklahoma in 1999, and passed the Advanced Course in Aviation Medicine (Kings College London) in 2004. He holds the AOPA aerobatic certificate, has a share in a PA28 and currently flies aeros in a Robin 2160i.

In addition to his work at Norwich Airport where he set up a private medical company in 2007 – Examinair,  Vincent  holds  part-time posts in a busy NHS University Hospital Trust in Occupational Medicine and also at a private aviation medicine company at Stansted Airport.

Examinair is located in well equipped rooms at  Premier Building,  Norwich International Airport, where there is convenient and free on-road parking.
