Aviation Medicals

All routine medical investigations required by both the CAA and FAA can be carried out at the time of the aeromedical examination including ECG, Audiometry, Spirometry (respiratory function), haemoglobin and cholesterol blood tests.

CAA/ATCO  certificates can be revalidated up to 45 days before the expiry date of the current certificate keeping the existing expiry date as the start of the next validity period.

FAA first/second/third class medical certificates (mm/dd/yyyy format) extend to 6/12/24 months from the end of the month of the last aeromedical examination.

These  fees include a CAA charge to AMEs of £13.00 per Class 1 and £3 per Class 2 medical as from  01/04/2010                and are exclusive of VAT

Consultations on aviation related health matters are available between examinations and I am happy to liaise with the CAA/FAA where appropriate.

CAA and FAA medicals are completed live on-line with direct access to the CAA/FAA at the time of examination.

Please bring photo ID, spectacles/contact lenses and licence to the medical...and
you will need to provide a urine sample to test for sugar, blood and protein.
